Holy Cow batman!! I just talked with a person I have not seen in over 20 years. Yes I know that makes me sound really old. I have put off getting an account for years. Now I wish I would have gotten one soon. Facebook rocks!!!

Are they shrinking things??

This has been bothering me for a while. Unless you pay close attention to packaging they will shrink things on you. I had a stock pile of Dawn Direct Foam from last year, but I noticed I only had one left in the cabniet. So when super doubles were at HT earlier this month I bought a couple more with the $1.50 off coupon. When I got home I noticed that they now look different. The old bottle was 13.5 FL OZ or 250 pumps.....the new bottle is 10.1 FL OZ with 190 pumps. Funny the bottle shrunk and the price went up!!! I know I am not the only one noticing the incrediable shrinking products. What have you found that is not the same as it use to be??

Rebates

I know some people wonder if doing rebates is really worth their time. Well I am here to show you proof it is worth it!! I have attached a picture for all you doubters out there. In the mail just yesterday I got $74.98 worth of rebate checks. Did I have to spend all of this money to get all of it back ? No!! I used coupons to make the total lower. I maybe spent $40 total for all of the products I purchased. So that works out to a $35 profit and I get to keep the products to either use myself or pass on to friends for their use. I am still waiting on one more rebate from December for $5.00. So my total money made for December on rebates should be $40 plus free product. I call that a good months profit. Since January is quickly coming to an end I am trying to get the rest of my January rebates in the mail. So far the total amount of rebates I am sending in for January will be around $135. I am hoping to build a nice little "nest egg" to take on my cruise in April. I think I am well on my way!!

Well it may not be beautiful yet.....but it is up and running. Please bear with me until I get the hang of this whole new world of blogging. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!! I am attempting to get it started while Ashlee is at preschool today. Hopefully later this afternoon I will have my first real post up for you all to enjoy.
